Expression écrite Swine flu

 

Introduction: The swine flu is a highly contagious infectious disease caused by a virus that affects pigs of all ages. It is closely related to human influenza. 

Development: Swine influenza is caused by influenza viruses type A, enveloped RNA viruses belonging to the subfamily Orthomyxiviridae, gender and influenza virus subtype H1N1 or H3N2 most often. The viruses isolated from pigs and humans have a common origin and exchanges of viruses commonly occur between these two species.
Regarding geographical distribution, disease, whatever the subtype in question is present on all continents.

Epidemiologically, the species affected are pigs. For sources and transmission of infection: the virus is excreted in the external environment by patients or carriers of the virus in aerosol form, or in the nasal or tracheobronchial. The virus can also be transmitted indirectly by vehicles manure.
